Meeting-based workflow triggers allow you to automate actions in Sidekick based on when a meeting starts or ends. With this feature, you can:
- Send a Slack/MS Teams message when a meeting ends, with action buttons to update the meeting outcome, add notes, and update associated object properties.
- Send a Slack/MS Teams reminder with historical context before a meeting starts.
- Use meetings in time-based workflows to create a list of upcoming meetings and publish them on your Slack/ MS Teams! Or keep a check on meeting data hygiene on a weekly basis.
Follow these steps to enable this feature:
Click on the downward arrow on the top-right corner of your Sidekick homepage and select Settings.
Next, click on the Global Settings tab on the left-side panel, and toggle the button on as shown here:
Once this setting is turned on, you will be able to use Meeting-based triggers when creating workflows on Sidekick. Head over to our step-by-step guides on how to use Meetings in Event-Based Workflows and Time-Based Workflows.
