This will take you to the “New Webhook Subscription” page.

How To Create A New Webhook Subscription On Sidekick

There are 2 sections for you to fill up here: Trigger Details and Property Details.

Let’s take an example.

Say you want to create an Event Based Workflow where Sidekick messages your Sales team when a Deal’s stage changes on HubSpot and lets them update the Deal’s next steps on HubSpot directly from Slack/ MS Teams.

Here are the steps to create this Webhook Subscription:

Step 1: Trigger Details: Add a Name and Description for your new Webhook Subscription, so it’s easy for you to find it in your list of Subscriptions, when you need to. For this use case, let’s name the trigger “Deal Stage Update” and add a description that says, “Trigger for HubSpot Deal Stage updates”.

Step 2: Property Details: Select the “Object Type” for which you want to create a Webhook Subscription (Contact, Company or Deal). Next, Search for the Property you want to create a Subscription for. In this case, our “Object Type” will be Deal. And the Property will be Deal Stage.

Step 3: Once you’ve filled in these details, click on “Create HubSpot Subscription”.

And that’s it! Your new Webhook Subscription is created. Once you create a Subscription, whenever that property changes on HubSpot, Sidekick will receive an event from your HubSpot account. This Webhook Subscription can then be used to trigger an Event Based Workflow.

Pro-tip: You don’t need to create a new Webhook Subscription for every new Event Based Workflow on Sidekick. You can use the same Subscription to create multiple Event Based Workflows, as long as the workflows have the same “Object Type” and “Property”.
We hope this was helpful! You can now get started with creating your own Webhook Subscriptions on Sidekick. Please feel free to connect with our team if you need help or have questions about what’s possible on Sidekick.
